Puzzle description
This puzzle’s featured image first appeared in a series titled, "The Freedom of Sisterhood”, by Anne Barlinckhoff, an artist currently living and working between Europe and Africa. Anne’s work is a study of the human body and the complexities of our relationships. With her eye for detail and ability to establish a sense of trust between her subjects, her work becomes an exploration of sculptural bodies, forms and contours that transform the ordinary into a new kind of intimacy. Sometimes even deliberately placed out of context, the subjects in her work urge the viewer to recalibrate the visual and cultural assumptions we live by.
